A Florida native, Dr. David B. Shroyer, graduated from the University of Florida before attending Auburn University for his veterinary medicine degree. He has been a practicing veterinarian for over 30 years. He and his wife Judy have a teenage daughter named Brooke. Outside of veterinary medicine his interests include boating, kayaking, fishing, surfing and cheering on his daughter at volleyball games. His four legged family members include a couple of Chihuahuas (Angel & Penny) and a kitty named Triton. Because Dr. Shroyer loves the outdoors so much he is active in the community participating in the Halifax River cleanup. He has a special interest in pet wellness achieved by disease prevention through good nutrition and early diagnosis of conditions to prevent disease, promote well being and prolong life.

Brittany joined our practice in 2007 and has worked in the veterinary field for 6 years. When she is not working she spends as much time as possible with her son, Wyley. They enjoy going to the beach, riding bikes and going to the park with their dogs BoBo and Bella. Brittany also has two cats named Kitty and Butters.
Monica has worked in the veterinary field for twenty three years, seventeen of those here. During her time off she enjoys fishing, camping and riding her ATV. She recently became an aunt to a precious little boy named Noah, which she adores. Her furry family includes two Boxers, Cayman and Brac, plus a Dachshund named Scooter and her bird Pebbles.
Lisa is a Daytona Beach native, attending high school and college locally. She has been with the practice since the 1990’s and enjoys seeing all the clients and pets that visit the practice each day. Her favorite part is making new furry friends. Her family includes her husband Brant and their furry menagerie of dogs (a Chihuahua, Cocker spaniel and a Labrador retriever), cats and even a couple turtles. When she is not working at the practice she also pursues a career in dental hygiene. Her interests including traveling, snorkeling, movies, reading and she loves going to the beach.

Carrie has been with our hospital for over 20 years. She and her husband just celebrated 20 years of marriage! They live on a small farm with their 2 daughters, Kaitlyn age 16 and Haley age 12. The whole family enjoys horseback riding, participating in horse shows and camping. All together they have five horses, some cats, 2 dogs, rabbits and a goat.
Official Mascot and Ambassador
Tuffy was adopted from a local humane society. He had lived at the shelter for a year before being adopted by us. Tuffy loves all the attention & petting he gets from his visitors, because they all come to see him after all right? His favorite past times include napping, eating, playing and of course supervising the front office.
